The report provides statistical information on national adaptation research in the 32 EEA member countries plus Israel through a sound analysis of the CIRCLE-2 Climate Adaption INFOBASE. The INFOBASE is a public database on climate adaptation research that CIRCLE-2 has been developing within its integrated communication strategy and management task.

 

Overview of climate change adaptation platforms in Europe

The report provides an overview on the state of play of most adaptation platform in Europe including 14 national adaptation platforms. It offers information on the scope, history, targeted users, the selection and presentation of knowledge, the links to other topics, scales and platforms as well as the monitoring and evaluation of the platforms. It also analyses existing and potential links of the platforms to climate services and Disaster risk reduction (DRR) platforms.

 

Strengthening Health Resilience to Climate Change
The paper is a technical briefing made for the World Health Organization's Conference on Health and Climate Change in 2015. It provides a brief summary of the available evidence on the health impacts of climate change, and an outline of the necessary response to protect health from these evolving risks.
